The Guestnet integration imports activities and menus from your Guestnet account into the DialogShift knowledge base. Chat AI can use this content in its answers. Guestnet is not a booking engine and is not used for Journey Messaging.

Prerequisites

  • Your hotel uses Guestnet.
  • You have your hotel’s Client ID from Guestnet.

Activate the integration

  1. In the DialogShift app, open Settings → Integrations and select Guestnet.
  2. Select the language of the content to import.
  3. Enter your hotel’s Client ID.
  4. Activate the integration and save the settings.
The integration page also shows how many articles were read and when the content was last updated.

Imported content

DialogShift imports the following from the activity calendar:
  • title and description
  • date, time, location, and duration
  • categories and registration information
  • direct link to the activity
  • overviews for the next seven days and by category
DialogShift imports the following from the daily menu:
  • courses and dishes
  • descriptions and prices
  • wine prices per glass or bottle
  • allergen information
The content is synchronized with Guestnet automatically. If you deactivate the integration, the imported content is removed from the knowledge base.

Chat in the Guestnet app

Importing Guestnet content and embedding the DialogShift chat in the Guestnet app are independent of each other. The chat can also be provided as a separate channel in the Guestnet app.

Configuration

If content is missing, check the Client ID, selected language, and whether the integration is active.
