This page is purely informational: there are no input fields and no save button. All actions are “copy link” or “download file” — none of them change your configuration.
How the links are structured
Each card shows one row per configured language of your hotel (e.g. German, English, French) with a copy button and the link. All links follow the same pattern:clid: your Client ID.locale: the language code of the row (de,en,fr, …) — the chat opens in this language.channel: the channel code of the card (e.g.pwa-mailing,pwa-qr). It attributes conversations to the correct channel in the statistics, and a dedicated greeting and teaser can be maintained per channel.
The cards in detail
Chat in email templates
Standard links for mailings of any kind, e.g. pre-stay emails from your CRM. Place the link as a text link or behind a call-to-action button in your mailing.MEWS journey email and Apaleo journey emails
The same link as for email templates, extended by the parameterconfirmationNumber={confirmationNumber}. {confirmationNumber} is a template tag of your PMS: when the journey email is sent, MEWS or Apaleo automatically replaces the placeholder with the guest’s booking number. The chat can then match the guest directly to their booking and respond in a personalized way.
The MEWS and Apaleo cards produce the same link — the template tag is identical in both PMS.
- “Chat on WhatsApp” buttons (green and white) as downloadable graphics (PNG and SVG) — for your website or mailings.
- One wa.me link per language (
https://wa.me/<number>?text=<start-message>). The start message is the pre-filled text in the guest’s WhatsApp input field. It can be customized per language; if no text is maintained for a language, the English version is used. Contact DialogShift support for adjustments. - One QR code per language pointing to the wa.me link.
https://ig.me/m/<username> with a copy button.
QR code and room service
Both cards are meant for print — posters, displays, advertising material — and show the webchat link plus a downloadable QR code per language. The difference is the channel code and thus the attribution in the statistics and the addressable greeting: Room service is meant for notices in guest rooms (e.g. menu or room service ordering as a dedicated entry point), QR code for general advertising material.HelloGuest, Gastfreund, Smarthost
Link-only cards for third-party guest apps. Send the links to your contact person at the respective app provider — they will embed the chat in their guest app (web app, TV app, etc.). For embedding the chat in your own guest app, see Embed chat in a guest app.QR codes: dynamic and print-ready
The QR codes do not encode the target URL directly but a short link (ds24.me). This makes them dynamic: DialogShift can change the target later without invalidating QR codes that have already been printed.
Each QR code is available for download in three formats: PNG, SVG, and EPS. EPS is the vector format for print shops.
Card visibility
- WhatsApp and Instagram are only shown if the respective channel is set up.
- All other cards are always shown. A copied link always works — but the channel-specific greeting and teaser only apply if the channel is activated and the greeting is maintained under Channel Settings.
