You can add individual URLs, PDFs or text documents to the hotel AI that are read and added to the knowledge base.

Prerequisites

You have activated GPT AI for your hotel.

Configuration

Access AI Content

  • Hover over the left side menu
  • Click on AI Content to access content management

Access URL and PDF Management

Navigate to the corresponding area for URL and PDF management.

Add new content

To add a PDF file or a website, click the Add content button.

Insert link or file

A new window opens with the following options:
  • Add link: Enter the desired URL in the first input field
  • Upload PDF: Click the Add file button to select and upload a file from your computer

Adjust extraction frequency (optional)

If you want to adjust the frequency and type of data extraction from the source:
  • Click the Change button on the right side
  • Specify how often the data should be read from the source
Example: If it’s a weekly updated menu, you can set the extraction frequency to “daily”.
Done! The content has been successfully added and configured.

Important Notes

General Notes

Add knowledge only in one language. The AI translates this into the other languages offered.
Only add pages that provide added value for a (potential) hotel guest, quality over quantity applies. For the AI to function optimally, it should not be overwhelmed with information or fed with contradictory information.
Images or maps cannot be read.

Special Notes for URLs

Add individual URLs

Add only individual URLs. It’s not sufficient to store the central website address (e.g., https://www.hotel.com).

Consider AI limitations

Note that the AI cannot click. This means only the content of the actual URL is read and no content that lies behind buttons there.

Legal aspects

Only add URLs whose content you control and that legally belong to your hotel.
