# Booking Statistics

> The booking statistics page and the Booking links tab: list of links to your booking flow generated by the bot

The **Statistics → Booking statistics** page shows individual booking actions as a list. This page mainly explains the **Booking links** tab – the links into your booking flow generated by the chatbot or the Phone AI (quick booker).

<Info>
  The booking statistics always show the **last 90 days**. Which tabs appear depends on which features are active for your hotel.
</Info>

## The "Bookings" tab

Each row is a **real booking process** via the booking agent – the guest books directly with DialogShift (in the chat with the Full Booking Agent or on the phone with the Phone AI). The columns are identical to the other tabs; the **status** shows the booking progress:

| Status                | Meaning                                                            |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Room selection** | The guest started the booking and is selecting a room. |
| **Travel data** | The guest is entering their travel and guest details (checkout). |
| **Booking completed** | The booking was actually submitted to the booking engine – booked. |
| **Offer sent** | A payment/checkout link was created and sent to the guest. |
| **Offer opened** | The guest opened that link. |

<Note>
  "Booking completed" is the final state and means a real booking. Many rows stay at "Room selection" when the guest does not finish the process.
</Note>

### Example

A guest books in the chatbot:

1. After the availability check they select a room → **Room selection**.
2. They enter their travel data → **Travel data**.
3. The booking is submitted → **Booking completed**.

## The "Booking links" tab

Each row is **one generated booking link**: the bot prepared a link into your web booking engine during the conversation – with travel dates and number of guests already selected. It is a **teased booking, not a completed booking**.

| Column           | Meaning                                                              |
| ---------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Timestamp** | When the link was created (date and time). |
| **Arrival** | Check-in date requested by the guest. |
| **Departure** | Check-out date requested by the guest. |
| **Status**       | `Link created` or `Redirected` (see below).                          |
| **Adults** | Number of adults from the request. |
| **Children** | Number of children from the request. |
| **Channel** | Which product created the link: 💬 chat, 📞 Phone AI or ✉️ Email AI. |
| **Conversation** | **Open** button – shows the related conversation. |

### Status

| Status           | Meaning                                                       |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Link created** | The link was sent to the guest but not yet clicked. |
| **Redirected** | The guest clicked the link and was taken to the booking flow. |

<Note>
  "Redirected" means the guest **used** the link – not that they booked. Actual bookings and revenue are shown in the **Tracking** tab or in the commercial metrics of the Chatbot and Phone AI statistics.
</Note>

## Example

A guest asks in the chat: "Do you have a double room for 2 people from June 5 to 7?"

1. The chatbot creates a booking link with pre-filled data (arrival June 5, departure June 7, 2 adults, 0 children).
   → New row, **status: Link created**, channel: 💬 chat.
2. The guest clicks the link and lands in your booking flow.
   → Status changes to **Redirected**.
3. Via **Open** you can read the full conversation.

## The "Availability checks" tab

Each row is an **availability request** by the guest for specific travel dates and number of guests. The **columns are identical** to the "Booking links" tab. Such requests come from the phone (Phone AI checks availability) or from the chat (quick booker).

The status shows how far the request got:

| Status           | Meaning                                                       |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| *(empty)* | Only availability was checked – no booking link sent yet. |
| **Link created** | A booking link was sent to the guest but not yet clicked. |
| **Redirected** | The guest clicked the link and was taken to the booking flow. |

<Note>
  A row can evolve: first only checked (empty), then **Link created**, then **Redirected**.
</Note>

### Example

A guest calls and asks the Phone AI: "Do you have a room for 2 people from June 5 to 6?"

1. The Phone AI checks availability → new row, **status empty**, channel 📞.
2. The Phone AI sends a booking link via SMS/WhatsApp → **Link created**.
3. The guest clicks the link → **Redirected**.

## The "Offer requests" tab

Each row is a **personalized offer request** via the Smart Host agent in the chat – the guest has an individual offer created. The columns are identical to the "Bookings" tab; the status shows the progress:

| Status                | Meaning                                                |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Room selection** | The request was started (room/availability selection). |
| **Travel data** | The guest is entering their travel and guest details. |
| **Booking completed** | The offer request was submitted. |

<Note>
  In the "Offer requests" tab the green status "Booking completed" means the **offer request was submitted** – not that a paid booking was made.
</Note>

## The "Tracking" tab

This tab shows **actually completed bookings with revenue** – i.e. what was reported back via the tracking pixel in your booking engine or via an integration (e.g. HNS). It has its own columns:

| Column           | Meaning                                                                    |
| ---------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Timestamp** | When the booking was reported. |
| **Channel**      | Product: 💬 chat, 📞 Phone AI or ✉️ Email AI.                              |
| **Chat channel** | The specific channel the booking came from (e.g. booking engine, website). |
| **IBE amount** | Booking amount in the booking engine's currency. |
| **EUR amount** | Amount converted to EUR. |
| **Currency**     | The booking engine's currency.                                             |
| **Rooms** | Number of rooms booked. |
| **Nights** | Number of nights booked. |
| **Persons** | Number of persons (if provided). |
| **Referrer** | The page where the booking was recorded. |
| **Conversation** | **Open** button – shows the related conversation. |

<Note>
  This is the only tab with **real revenue**. The other tabs show the booking funnel or generated links, not actual revenue. The totals match the revenue metrics in the Chatbot and Phone AI statistics.
